- Recognised Accounting/Finance degree is good, but not compulsory
- Two to three years of experience in a financial related firm will be highly preferred
- Proficient in MS office and excel
Salary Range: SGD35,000 – SGD50,000 per annum
USD25,900 – USD37,000 per annum
A fund accountant works for companies that manage funds, or companies that specialise in providing fund accounting services to those companies. They are primarily responsible for all accounting aspects related to his or her assigned group of funds. This includes proper calculation and presentation of Net Asset Value, yields, distributions, and other fund accounting outputs. Additionally, a fund accountant is in charge of reconciliation and reviewing of fund related accounts. He will have to be up to date with the latest accounting, tax and securities policies to ensure proper recording of the fund
The fund accountant may also assist in providing information during the fund’s audit and monitor compliance with various client service agreements.
